Set up your computer to work with the IBM® Lotus® Quickr™ connectors. After the
connectors are installed, you will see a place icon in Microsoft® Windows® Explorer,
with the title Places.
About this task
This section describes how to set up your computer to work
with the
Lotus Quickr connectors.
You
can download and install the connectors from the
Lotus Quickr home page, or from
the top-level page of a place using one of the following methods:
- From the Lotus Quickr home
page, you can download the connectors. This saves the connectors installation
file (qkrconn.exe) to your computer and requires
you to manually install the connectors. Before you can begin working,
you must connect to a Lotus Quickr server
and add a place. After the connectors are installed, and the connection
to the Lotus Quickr server
is established, you will see the Places icon in Windows Explorer.
- After logging in to a Lotus Quickr server and navigating to
a place, click on the Places icon. In the information
screen, click Download Now.
